Our annual pre-season Cricket Force day has been scheduled for Saturday 28 and Sunday 29 March 2020. It’s such an important period to get the club looking ship-shape in time for the new season.
As always, many hands make light work at the club. Let’s not leave it to the usual faces. You’ve plenty of notice to keep some time free and even if you can only contribute an hour or two, it’s most welcome.
Some of the key jobs we hope to complete this year are painting the fences at the bottom of the ground, de-weeding on the stone wall at the top banking, sprucing up the umpires room and tidying up the area around the nets. Bacon butties and brews on request will be available of course!
