Aidan Jump (pictured above, left) has made a switch from Armitage Bridge to join the club.
Following somewhat in his father’s footsteps, Aidan’s arrival boosts Danny Jones’ 2XI squad for the new season. His father Carl, a popular local cricketer, had two spells at the club soon after our switch to the Huddersfield Cricket League, joining from Central Lancashire League club Oldham.
Enthusiastic cricketer Aidan, who only recently became a new dad to a baby boy, is a useful spin bowler and mid-to-lower order batsman. He is a familiar face at the club having played most of his junior career with us during his dad’s time at Delph.
