Have a chance of putting your football knowledge to the test and stand a chance of winning some money as our Last One Standing competition is launched.
The competition is to be played weekly except for Saturdays where there is an International Break with the first round on Saturday 15th October. The cut off time is Friday 14th at 7pm with selections option until midnight.
Playing is easy; you simply select a team that you think will win. That’s it! If your team fails to secure victory you are knocked out of the game and the winner is the last person exclusively remaining. Should all remaining contestants lose and there is no exclusive winner then the pot rolls over and you can buy back in to boost the jackpot.
50% of the revenue will go directly to the club so by playing you’re helping the club. You can pay via Paypal, online link (which will be provided on request) or by cash (details below). If playing, you can join the WhatsApp group here: The Last One Standing Whatsapp Group

Full Rules
1. £15 entry, one entry per person.
2. Applicants who wish to play need to join the dedicated WhatsApp group.
3. To enter selections, you must name your team in the WhatsApp group with Jamie Harrison tagged. The deadline is always 7pm sharp on the Friday before the Saturday.
4. Select from Premiership, Championship, League 1 and League 2 Saturday fixtures only.
5. You may have a change of selection before the Friday deadline but your final selection will be used.
6. Only winning teams progress to the next matchday.
7. If there is no exclusive winner, the jackpot is rolled over and you can buy back in as follows:
- £15 to buy back in
- £25 for new player to join
- the buy in for new players rises by £10 each rollover (eg 3rd rollover = £35)
8. You cannot pick the same team twice. If you do, or fail to select a team by the deadline, the bottom placed team in League 2 is automatically selected for you.
9. A postponed or abandoned match will be deemed a winner and you proceed to the next round.
10. The results are announced on the DDCC Facebook page and in the WhatsApp group on Sunday evenings.

If you do not have a paypal account, simply join the group and request a payment link.
Cash
You can pay cash in person to Les Harrison or in an envelope marked FAO Les Harrison and left at The Old Bell Inn. Don't forget to join the WhatsApp group too.
Payment, and consequently entry to the competition, will be confirmed via the WhatsApp group.
