Stevel Rodney, a talented all-rounder from the West Indies joins us as our fourth addition to the squad for the upcoming season at Delph & Dobcross Cricket Club.
Stevel, a 6’3’’ tall, 23-year-old cricketer holding a UK passport, brings a wealth of talent and experience to our team. Hailing from the West Indies, he has represented Montserrat at every junior level from the age of 13, showcasing his dedication and passion for the sport from a young age.
Primarily a top-order batsman, Stevel also adds versatility to our bowling lineup with his right-arm spin. His ability to contribute with both bat and ball will undoubtedly strengthen our team and complement our existing options on the field.
Stevel's recent performances speak volumes about his capabilities on the cricket pitch. Notably, he scored his maiden century while playing for Pontblyddyn in the Welsh Premier League, igniting a run of excellent form where he followed it up with impressive scores of 73, 49 not out, and 96 consecutively. Before his stint in Wales, Stevel also showcased his raw talent while playing for Bredbury St Marks in South Manchester in 2019.
Welcome to Delph & Dobcross, Stevel!
